Koreans always tend to think the best about first class.

For example, Korean parents does not accept to praise when your child come in to get record of 90 out of 100 points.

Instead,

 Korean parents say tendency of criticism. "Why don't you come in to get only 90 points ? I want you to receive 100 points?"

It is an old existence became like a time bomb.

Koreans have many competition and so Koreans drink enough to withstand the stress.

 Today it is the current situation of Korea realistic.

Korean realism has a lot of energy and also can not be denied the fact that all this growth is the driving force of a stepping-stone due to it.

However, many people are frustrated or put to suffering because of it.

It also end up as a tragedy or misfortune.

I fall in miserable feeling whenever I hears the news that died by suicide around

It is the law that things are pros and cons.

It is a natural fact as much as a natural phenomenon which the bright sunlight made darker shade.

But excessive Korean reality of supremacy makes the mind wander exhausted.

The moderate spirit of our ancestors which too less is better than too much rises in my brain naturally.

There are the almighty dollar principle and the obsessed with appearance as a phenomenon derived in Korean realism.

There is the severe attachment to money  because Korean has a strong attachment to reality. This phenomenon which the poor get poorer and the rich get richer appears more and more like the developed countries by structural contradiction of capitalism specially these days,

So attachment to reality appears more and more.

  

In particular, the younger generation is difficult to get a job by the difficulty of finding employment.

South Korea's young people do not have much income so it becomes the era of abandon of love and the marriage and parenting.

Koreans are also very much emphasis on appearance.

 Koreans understand an opponent trough the appearance based on the phenomenon of surface.

So, Koreans love to have plastic surgery.

In particular, women are more concerned about their appearance. So Korea is the makeup from my student days.

In particular, the appearance may be many variables role in employment or dating.

I feel the mind to be resolutely determined to write this article.

Looking back, I wonder if it was the time of year which lead frustration and conflict and pain and distress.

It's a lonely and desolate, calm mind what is left of now,...

The trauma an entrance examination of university that I was so tired of in youth ,

Wound of my first love,

The hot feeling of cloud and rain( hot sex of couple )

The child's mind that play soccer with friends in the neighborhood at childhood

The mind of blind daring that struggle to pursue the business in middle age

Everything is gone with wind.

All that's left is only projection which wail of an old and wretched wolf crying over a desolate field.

I do not know the meaning of things until ten years.

I know the meaning of life after all 60 years have run away.

I have a bitter laugh .

The tears come out and the computer keyboard is blurred.

I have a old mother who is 95 years old.

Parents seek safety in flight from Pyongyang of north Korea to South Korea during the Korean War.

My father, who was died on Jan, at 2000 , did not step on the land of Pyongyang at the end.

And he had to end his life as displaced people of much sorrow

Also, my mother had to endure life of sorrow through keeping her life in homesickness.

I once visited Imjin tower with my mother.

At that time, I can not forget the appearance my mother who looked at the north sky in front of 'the bridge that does not come back’(The Bridge of Freedom) in Imjin tower.

She put all my family in Pyongyang at north Korea and came down alone to south Korea.

And she had to pioneer her life in a strange land in south Korea.

It seems that her life which lose hometown is more sorrowed.

Let me give you another example.

It is the story of a woman who was born after her father was died.

The woman got married and got a husband, but her husband went out to sea and caught fishes and died in a storm.

Her son got a job in the company, but her son also got on a deep-sea fishing vessel and died in an accident in the distant sea.

She serviced the sacrifice of shaman to comfort her husband and son.

As such, Koreans have much sorrows.

It has many connections with Korean shaman faith.

I will talk about Shamanism when we talk about Confucianism,

Koreans have been influenced very much by climate and soil since ancient times.

So Koreans are an energy-intensive people.

The one of way how to overcome and sublimate about sorrow go to the library if I make a suggestion.

There are many books to visit in your nearest library.

I think that you may start to read from the easy and interesting books in your nearest library.

That is, you can choose the genre of taste that suit you well.

It's a funny book or a novel, poem .

Essay is also good for you.

If you read slowly from easy books to long breaths, you may feel that you are gradually changing your view of frustration and make a patience.

If you go to Myeong-dong ( center of town at Seoul), you can see many Chinese people are sightseeing.

Can you say that you know all the inner culture of Koreans even if Chinese people come to center of town at Seoul and bought Korean goods at the store?

Likewise, can Koreans know the Japanese people 's mind even if Koreans travel to Ginza( center of town at Tokyo) in Japan ?

How do Koreans know the culture of French people, even if Koreans went to Paris and took a picture in front of the Eiffel Tower?

The work is song  that sublimates the sorrow of Koreans.

The idea that came up this time is the song of our country called the tree of tomb.

Let 's talk about Confucianism in our country.

It is delayed when we talk about Korean holiday season because of various reasons.

I also want to talk about my ‘SKY’ novels soon, but my Korean culture writing is delayed. I will tell you my novel soon.

So today I will go into the main point of this time and tell you what is Confucianism in Korea.

Traditionally, there have been three religions of our country, called Confucianism, Buddhist ,Taoism.

Confucianism is a religion made by Confucius, who lived in Shandong, China 500 years B.C. ago, and it is very deep in history, as it was assumed in Korea that it was from the Three Kingdoms period of Goguryeo( 100years ago B.C- 668 year A.D.) .

Confucianism is based on Confucius and Mencius.

Confucianism is the most prevalent political philosophy in Korea.

In particular, in the Joseon Dynasty (1395-1910), Confucianism was regarded as a state religion because the founding powers were Confucian scholar.

Confucianism has spread to all over the country, making Confucian scriptures the governing ideology.

The scriptures of Confucianism are seven books and mainly tell the story of Confucius and Mencius.

Confucianism can be said to be anthropology, which seeks only humanity and contemplates mankind, unlike Buddhism, which pursues the kingdom come.

It is a humanistic philosophy by not thinking about future life.

The basic ideology of Confucianism is first  ‘Nurse the body’ and second  ‘ rules man’..

After the body is cultivated and then  also means politics to govern mans.

In a word, Confucianism is as follows.

1  Cultivate  your body and mind.

2. Take care of your family.

• 3. In order to rule the country, go to the civil service examination and then become  administer of  government after pass, and  govern  the peoples.

4. Ultimately, you will make peace with the world.

. It is the basic idea of Confucianism.

That is to say, it is more practical.

I must  be dutiful to my parent and then keep in with my brothers and sisters.

I  always read the Confucian scriptures.

 And then become  clean manager and rule the peoples after pass the Confucian Test.

We call that this  spirit is ‘sprit of scholar’

This ‘sprit of scholar’ is meant that to commemorate scholarship and a warm understanding of the arts.

Korea is a ‘sprit of scholar’.

Kingdom of Korea was  country of scholar.

. The spirit of scholar is a spirit that can represent Korea.

‘The spirit of scholar’  is Korean brand.

There is a brand and a feeling of this precious spirit in our products and culture.

I feel it is necessary to promote this to everyone in the world.

In other words, there is ‘Sinocentrism’ in China.

In Japan, there is a "samurai spirit" created by crossing the 'fighting father' of Goguryeo  kingdom at Korea.

In Korea, there is a "spirit of scholar ‘ that admires scholarship.

I hope to keep this spirit of scholar deeply dissolved in our bodies in our hearts.

That alone is the reason I write this article.

It is also the driving force of this writing.

Everyone in our bodies have a spirit of scholar and  learning  and study.

As a comparative example, one of the reasons why Korea has the highest rate of university enrollment among OECD countries is that Koreans have a high educational fever and a high passion  of university enrollment because of the spirit of scholar  in genetic factors in their lives.

Of course, I think it can be a fragmentary approach from a negative point of view.

Confucianism is a religion that cares about human problems. Unlike other religions, it has no interest in nature and has nothing to do with the God of the future.

Confucianism  only emphasize ethics and speak only political philosophy.

In that respect,  Confucianism is different from Buddhism and Taoism

Confucianism only talk about the future.

Confucianism  do not talk about the afterlife.

Once again, expressing Confucianism in one word.

It means that I wait for the will of heaven after I do everything  my best on my own. .

 It can be said that it is the word that pierces the heart of Confucianism.

 I'll go into more detail.

I will avoid tired stories as much as possible.

  I will only give a more general and superficial story

Do not worry too much and do not get bored

.If possible, I will try to tell stories by selecting only interesting stories.

Confucianism is for us.

Because we are not for Confucianism.

It's about telling Confucianism to dig into a part of our culture that is fused in our culture.

In other words, the minds of Confucianism are deeply embedded in the actions and consciousness of Korean people.

So let's go into the floods or jungle of Confucianism abroad and explore.

It has been since the Joseon Dynasty(1392-1910) that Confucianism began to develop in earnest.

In 1392, Joseon  first king and political leaders, including the Confucian forces destroyed Goryeo Dynasty(A.D.918-1392) and founded Korea.

From that time, Confucianism will begin to develop in earnest.

There are  three major religions of Confucianism, Buddhist ,Taoism which  were developed harmoniously in Koryo Dynasty(A.D.918-1392) .

However, unlike Goryeo Dynasty(A.D.918-1392)  , which used Buddhism as its national religion, However, Chosun Dynasty regarded Confucianism as a state religion.

 Among the Confucianism, Sung Confucianism(the doctrines of Chu-tzũ) which is branch Confucianism  dominates Korea.

Confucianism  see that  the things are regarded as a principle  and vigor.

This is ideological and the nature does not move and does not change

It means human thought  or mind

.  The vigor is always changing and material.

In other words, the vigor  means the human body and it is easy to think that it is human energy.

Because our country has a lot of mountains, Koreans like mountains and are introverted.

 Koreans are full of a hot temperament  in their bodies.

So you might like   red  peppers.

I will explain the principle  and vigor  more easily by making a chart.

Unlike other religions, Confucianism never looks at human desires badly, as shown in the chart above.

It sees human desire as a driving force for civilization and merely prevents desire too far from going to ruin .

Confucianism talks about the spirit of the middle-of-the-road.

It is talking about the harmony of intelligence and virtue

 It does not ask you to suppress your desires, but teaches you to just use it properly.

 I will tell you a personal story.

I have a mother who is 95 years old this year.

When I was young, my mother always taught me as fellow saying.

“Our family is a high – level  family.

  Do not forget this spirit  of scholar.

And you should not be too greedy.

 But  it should not be too less greedy

Always keep the spirit of middle of the road ''

My mom  taught me the key ideas of Confucianism since I was a child.

Let me briefly mention the story of  Toegye Lee Hwang and  Yulgok Lee- lee who are the two mountains of Confucianism in Korea,

Because you can understand the basic flow of Confucianism in Korea, you need to know the thinking system of two great thinkers that Korea  boasts.

Toegye Lee Hwang was born city of Andong in Gyeongsang province at Korea.

He is a leader of East school.

East school and West school are a political party which is expressed two branches of Confucianism in Korea.

Principle school means East school, which starts with end of Koryo dynasty.

Principle school is a school that emphasizes  theory as shown in the diagram

On the contrary, the  vigor school, which is on the opposite side of the Principle school , is a school that regards practice and economy as important.

The purpose of philosophical direction of Toegye Lee Hwang was to realize ideal society based on sky theory .

This time, I will talk about Yulgok Lee- lee.

Yulgok Lee-lee is a genius who has gone a selective examination of administration in Confucianism during Chosun Dynasty and has passed the first grade   9 times.

He had been live in Paju which I am living too at here now.

Toegye Lee Hwang was working hard.

But Yulgok Lee-lee  is a genius-type man who writes poetry well since he was born.

He lost his parents when he was a child and at one time he went to Mt. Geumgang to learn Buddhism.

He also wrote a book about Taoism.

He  was a fairly free-spirited scholar.

East school (Toegye Lee Hwang) can say that Yulgok Lee- lee  is  not a Confucian scholar if East school (Toegye Lee Hwang)   see Yulgok Lee- lee  from the perspectives  of East school (Toegye Lee Hwang)  .  

In an extreme sense, it is enough to hear the sound of rebel  against Confucianism because Yulgok Lee- lee is also the person who spoke about various  thoughts of ideas.

Yulgok Lee- lee  emphasized practical aspects with Vigor school.

  When I went to office in front of king , Yulgok Lee- lee   raised a lot of appeals (a memorial to the Throne) to the king.

So Yulgok Lee- lee  was a reformist who wanted to reform Korea..

If Toegye Lee Hwang is type of  a professor, Yulgok Lee- lee  is a reformist  to resemble of  the a student political activist

 Yulgok Lee- lee   opened a Gyeonggi-do school with the principle  School

Gyeonggi-do is meant Seoul suburbs area.

I live Gyeonggi-do now with him.

The Vigor school is to say philosophy of energy.

Yulgok Lee- lee  is also a person who shouts  highly to the reality participation..

His keen insight  was claimed an opinion  to train  a hundred thousand soldiers 10 years ago before the Japanese invasion of 1592.

Yulgok Lee- lee  is also a saint of the Korea, who had an excellent political sense.

But at that time, Korea  was in peace, and no one listened to him.

Yulgok Lee- lee  have been discussing Toegye Lee Hwang about  Four Elements/Seven Emotions.

Both Yulgok Lee- lee  and Toegye Lee Hwang  have left us with many books.

. I will tell you a lot about their many books when I have an opportunity.

The other visual ideas of the thinkers of them led to the creation of East school and West  school..

And it also happened  to a four  color -parties.

If we think of it as a four color-  parties, we are thinking only of the bad empty theory and empty chat of the Korean scholars .

There is a fixed idea  that thinks that it is corrupt scholars who know only power.

It is  only a colonial and historical view  made by Japanese imperialism.

When Koreans  look at it from our perspective, the debate between the Principle school and the Vigor school is a high political philosophy and a discussion  culture.

Now the remnants of the Japanese colonial view  must be cleared.

I think  that it is time for us to watch our precious spirit of scholar warmly.

We have looked into the Confucian culture of Korea in general.

Now let's go into more practical sentences and see what the contents are.

The best of Confucian scriptures is the Analects of Confucius

This is the first sentence of the Analects of Confucius

. "Confucius said, I am happy to learn and sometimes practice .

. It is also fun when a friend comes from  very far.

I must be a man of virtue if I do not blame the world even though peoples do not recognize me.”

Confucianism talks about the joy of studying and endless exploration of scholarship

And Confucianism  emphasize sociality.

Confucianism is an idea created in  the times of feudalism.

Confucianism  think that  this is best  valuable life which scholars   serve the king to the top  and  manage the people  under the bottom.

Also, a man of virtue means "a person with a high level of knowledge and good  behavior .”

A man of virtue seeks  to become saints.

Let 's talk about another sentence which was written by the another Confucianism leader.

“The boy is easy to grow old and the study is hard to achieve.

 Do not take lightly for a short time.

 The leaves in front of the tree are already making a sound of autumn before the grass in the pond was waken up in the spring dream.”

He talks about the  encouragement of study.

And finally, I'll write down what I learned in high school during Chinese class.

“You should not forget your friends who  you had been played  with since  poor childhood.

You should not break up with your wife who had been engaged around since poor  childhood.”

In other words, Confucianism is the scholarship  of human being which speak human way or reason .

This is the first and last word.

Today, I happened to watch KBS1TV for dinner for a while.

   A woman from Finland came to Korea and said the three emotions that she felt are the fun and vigor  and feeling . in Korea

I was very  surprised about her speaking of Korean fun and vigor and feeling.

A foreigner who has been in Korea for only six months has penetrated Korea 's emotions.

The last time I talked about Korean feeling .

Now the Korean vigor story is  mentioning  for a moment through the Confucian story.
